The ongoing journey to net zero
Browns Food Group's environmental policies build on the work already started at FoodPro.
Continuing from work already started on site at FoodPro, the Browns Food Group environmental policies further support our commitment to the planet.
The head office site in Kelloholm, Scotland has so far installed enough solar panels (estimated to provide enough power to run 150 houses) to supply the background power for running the factory.
In addition, Browns Group have made the swap to LED lighting and are carrying out environmental training within their induction programmes. Meanwhile, work continues on setting SBTi-approved targets for the group.
