Lowering our carbon footprint
By moving to shrink wrap we have taken 96 trucks a year off the roads.
As a business we are continually looking into ways to see how changes can support our CSR aims and pledges. We remain conscious of the carbon footprint we leave behind.
Research into new developments in packaging, and the growing benefits of using new-style shrink wrap in place of traditional cardboard packaging, has shown that it not only uses less packaging but saves storage space, and so also reduces our carbon footprint through vehicle emissions.
